Ready for some weird numerology shit? I have a theory that embedded in our personalities, there are some very persistent patterns. We have tendencies that rear their sometimes ugly, sometimes life-saving heads at all moments in our lives. Some people learn about them on their own, others visit a shrink. Some people don't ever figure it out until it's too late, though they were quite apparent to their friends, family, even their enemies.
I'm not exactly sure what 40/60 means -- perhaps it's my ratio of certainty on any given issue; perhaps it's my likelihood to make the right decision. Or the wrong decision. Perhaps it's the number of red blood cells in my body verses white ones. Who knows? BUT I KNOW IT MEANS SOMETHING!

still my favorite album of the decade. the grooves are built on spiraling repetition, yet no two moments are exactly alike. utterly mind-bending, yet dictated by thematic purpose. and it's still kept as a trim, ever-cool package, though at times the journey is so immersive it feels everlasting. Dada in a suit; a contained bubble of aesthetic perfection that moves everywhere without stopping or faltering for a second. fucking rock on \m/ Spencer Vik
The sophomore release from Eggy is full of propulsive and incisive guitar rock peppered with unexpected elements like saxophone and samples. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 4, 2022
Underwater Moonlight and Robyn Hitchcock in general is an all time fave of mine, so finding that music of its kind and caliber is still out there just made my day. Gonna be geeking about this for a long time. VetsFetchin'
